It features a redesign of one of our most cost effective monitors for measuring SPO2 oxygen saturation and heart rate. It is engineered for spot-check oxygen saturation of aterial hemoglobin (SPO2) and pulse rate. It is intended for occupational, clinical use by trained professionals. It has an extremely bright, easy to read large display.
Highly Accurate :
Although very cost effective, the new monitor provides a SPO2 accuracy of +/- 2% in a range of 70-100%. The heart rate measurement accuracy is =/1 2 beats per minute within a range of 30-250 bpm and +/- 2% within a pulse range of 100 - 250 bpm.
Low Maintenance :
Requires no routine calibration or maintenance other than replacement of batteries. Batteries provide approximately 24 hours of continuous operation (approximately 2,400 measurements).

Limitations :
This finger pulse oximeter will NOT monitor SPO2 during activity and movement. You must stop the current activity and take the reading while stationary. Movement will cause readings to be affected by artifact. Also, this unit is not designed for continuous monitoring. Note that this unit is very minimally affected to external light. The deviation in measured results from a darkroom to the condition of man-made light or indoor natural light is less than 1%.
